GRID TRANSFORMATIONS – AGGREGATE PLANTERS

Hello. This is a project on grid working with simple grids and some transformations to make interlocking assemblies.

This is part of a vertical garden project I have ongoing. In this series, we will look at how to make an interlocking grid from a simple grid in grasshopper3D and Rhino3d(a visual scripting platform). We will then explore and output iterations (variations) of form with the script we make. Once we have a form we like and can be a good succulent holder, we will 3D print, make a silicone mold, and cast in concrete. Finally we will install on a blank stucco wall and plant succulents. Enjoy!
